Understanding, Empathy, and the Possibility of Healing
Childhood sexual abuse (CSA) is a deeply sensitive subject — one that affects more people than we often realise. Yet, with the right understanding, awareness, and support, it is possible to create environments that promote safety, compassion, and genuine healing.
As a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, I bring both professional insight and personal lived experience to this training. Having walked my own path of recovery, I understand not only the trauma and complexity that survivors face, but also the challenges that can arise within therapy and professional support systems.
This CSA Awareness Training Programme is designed to help organisations, teams, and professionals:
- Develop a deeper understanding of the impact of childhood sexual abuse
- Recognise the lasting emotional and relational effects survivors may experience
- Communicate with sensitivity, authenticity, and empathy
- Identify the barriers that can occur during the healing process
- Explore how even profound pain can become a foundation for growth, purpose, and positive change
Each session is delivered with care, respect, and integrity, and can be tailored to your organisation’s needs — from a 2-hour introductory workshop to a full-day immersive training.
This training is not only about awareness — it’s about fostering understanding, compassion, and hope. It offers a reminder that from even the most difficult experiences, transformation is possible, and a genuinely positive life can emerge.
